HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY SACHIN!!!

Sachin has had a busy last two days. Yesterday was his actual birthday and Sachin spent the whole day asking me, "sachin happy birthday party???" and I had to remind him it is tomorrow (but he has no idea what that really meant). So he spent the night with Grandma so Andy and I could set up this morning without Sachin getting in the way. So when he came home we made him close his eyes and then open them downstairs (where the party would be) and he was soooo excited! He ran around screaming "Sachin Happy Birthday Party....Sachin Happy Birthday Party...etc". Then as his friend arrived he got even more hyper. Overall, we thought the party was a success. He had a nice mix of boys and girls and they were close enough in age that they all got along. It was cute when it was time for cake that all the kids were yelling to blow out the candles. We had to light them twice and Sachin got help blowing them out. He was all smiles when everyone sang the "happy birthday" song. It is his dream come true. Everyone is looking at him and singing for him. After some yummy cake (which Andy by mistake took from the baker and didn't realize that I had not pre-paid for, thus, stealing the cake...but we'll go back and pay for) and ice cream, the party animals started to exit. After a quick clean up, we were all overdue for a nap. After the nap, he was a charged up and ready to open gifts!!! He got some great gifts and they will keep him busy which is great for me :)
