The wedding was wonderful. Filip and Danielle are two people that compliment each other beautifully. I wedding was on Friday at the Antrim in Maryland. We went up the day before because the girls were getting their nails done during the day and Andy was going to help Fil out with last minute wedding stuff. So we relaxed and chit chatted until the rehearsal dinner in little Italy in Baltimore. The food was great and it was a good oppurtnity for everyone to get to know each other before the wedding.
The wedding day; we woke up and got our stuff together so we could move to the hotel that was closer to the wedding site. The guys were going to lunch so Staci (John's wife) and I tagged along. It was a relaxing day that wasn't rush rush like Indian weddings are.
The wedding was outside in the garden. The location was breathtaking and perfect. As Danielle walked down the isle, it was hard not to shed a tear (or a bucket full). They both wrote their vows and moved everyone. I was honored to be asked to read a poem during the wedding (I carry your heart by EE Cummings). As I read the poem, I looked over at Fil and Danielle and I was over come with emotion that caused my last verse to be off because I had to fight back the tears. Also my heel was digging into the grass so my balance was off too :)
After the wedding the guests enjoyed cocktails as the bridal party took some pictures. Then it was time to get the party started. Fil and Danielle walked in and went into thier first dance, which was a 'dancing with the stars' dance. They had practiced for a couple of months and they did a great job. Then it was Andy's big moment, as the best man he had to do a toast, and he was very nervous. However, he spoke beautifully and it was a sweet toast. Then it was time to get down.
The next day we had John and Staci, Fil and Danielle come over to our place to hang out. Fil and Danielle were going to leave for thier honeymoon from our place. It was nice for them to see Sachin.

Awww! I am just now getting caught up on your blog and (of course) I'm reading backwards. This was very cute. We loved seeing you all and we are so glad we got to see Sachin too!
Also, I tried to comment on the "Ba-na-na" video post but for some reason it wouldn't let me. I LOVE that video- I watched it twice. I love everything from the little sweater Sachin is wearing to the banana pronunciation to the "all dee". I don't know if I told you this, but after we stayed with you guys and got to hear Sachin's "all dee" we say that to each other all the time. It is adorable.
Miss you all!
