Episode 8

Sachin is 16 months old today!! and has been up to no good the past couple of days. On friday, Sachin threw a car at my face and thought it was hilarious to see me scream in pain. Soon after I was on the phone and hung up, when he grabbed the phone and put it on speaker phone. I reached over to grab it back when he dialed a couple of digits real quick...little did I know that the numbers were 9...1..1..1..1..1. So it automatically dialed and I hung up right away but I guess my number showed up and they called back. The lady asked if I was in trouble, I said no and that my son dialed. She asked how old he was and then said, "could you please keep the phone away from him?" I apologized again and hung up. Never in a million years did I think that would every happen, I mean dialing a pre programmed or redialing a number is expected but 911 is far fetched.

Saturday was a trip to costco and Sachin is now aware of his daddy's favorite part of bulk grocery shopping. They both gravitate to the sample carts and Sachin was then looking for "num-nums" everywhere.



Today we went to Leesburg Animal Farm with Manny, Neena and Ashmina. This was another opportunity for Sachin to see more "Bow-wows" aka animals. Andy didn't go with, since he went last weekend and he was busy with work. Ashmina was familiar with the farm and immediately wanted to buy food to feed the animals, however, once she had the food she was startled by the aggressive lama and let Neena do the rest. Then we headed to the slides which was a ton of fun. We tried the moon bounce but Sachin seemed indifferent about it, and Ashmina was afraid of the loud fans that were on to inflate it so we left. We walked around some more and then the rug-rats were ready to go so we went home.
